Steady, Stable and Able - Taster

This class focuses on improving balance and strength, both of which are vitally important for older adults. Using hand weights, resistance bands, gym equipment and bodyweight exercises, we will work to strengthen the major muscle groups. Specific balance exercises will help to improve balance and stability and protect against falls.

Course Outline:

This class will include a warm-up, strength and balance exercises, stretching and cooldown.

What to bring:

  • Bottle of water
  • towel
  • Please wear supportive shoes and comfortable clothing
