Learn Italian, Level 4 - Part 1

Acquire conversational skills in languages other than English. These courses are based primarily on the acquisition of conversational skills. These courses are geared to the potential tourist, business person and those wishing to improve communication with friends or family who have a non-English speaking background. Discover the culture of each nation. Many courses require the purchase of a textbook.

Level 3/4, approximately 1 1/2 – 2 1/2 year’s prior learning of the language necessary.

Language Bundle:

  • All language classes/levels are delivered as Part 1 and Part 2 across two terms. To maximise your chance of learning we recommend enrolling into both parts 1 and 2.
  • If you book into Parts 1 and Part 2 you will automatically save $40.
  • When enrolling in Part 1, Part 2 will automatically be selected at the checkout. You can untick Part 2 if you wish.

About the tutor:

Arsenia – Arsenia Neirotti was born in Torino, Italy, where she also completed her studies.
She has a great passion for the Italian language which she enjoys sharing with her students. Her love for her language prompted her to specialise in Adult Education and has been teaching at the SGSCC for the past 28 years.
Her main interests are Italian Renaissance Art and Opera which she has enthusiastically presented in her Italian Culture workshops.
Arsenia firmly believes that learning should be fun at any age so join her and have a great time.

Antonietta – I am a passionate teacher with strong communication skills, who has considerable experience in teaching Italian to the highest levels. I am fluent in Italian and English and have a strong understanding of the Italian culture.
I have acquired a lot of experience in planning and organising my lessons to implement effective teaching and learning, adopting various teaching strategies to encourage student participation and motivation.
I have achieved a good knowledge of several software programs, such as Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook Express. In March 2015, I completed a distance education training for online teaching at SIDE – Perth, using a variety of communication technologies, such as Saba and Moodle.
In 2012, I completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Education, and in 2008 I completed a Bachelor of Science (Human Biology).
I hold NESA accreditation and WWCC NSW.

  • To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
  • All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled before the commencement and you will be informed.
