This nationally recognised skill set is designed for vocational education and training (VET) practitioners who want to confidently support their learners’ reading, writing, numeracy, digital, and employability skills as part of their training and assessment practice. 

Whether you’re delivering accredited qualifications or seeking to enhance inclusive practice, this course provides practical, hands-on strategies for integrating foundation skills support into every stage of the learning journey. 

By completing this skill set, you’ll learn to:

• Tailor learning activities that build core skills in a contextual and relevant way
• Strengthen learner success and support pathways to employment

Units of Competency (UoC)

This skill set includes the following nationally recognised units: 

• TAELLN421 – Integrate core skills support into training and assessment
• TAELLN422 – Use foundation skills resources, strategies and advice
• TAELLN423 – Integrate employability skills support into training and assessment

Upon successful completion, students will receive a Statement of Attainment for all units.

Pathways Information

The units in this skill set provide credit towards the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and may also contribute to other relevant qualifications in the TAE Training and Education Training Package.
