The Workplace Trainer Skill Set is ideal for individuals who deliver hands-on training in the workplace, whether through structured programs or informal mentoring. If you're involved in supervising staff, conducting on-the-job training, or leading toolbox talks, this course provides the essential skills to train others effectively and confidently. 

This nationally recognised skill set equips you with practical techniques to:

  • Deliver vocational training aligned to industry standards

It’s the perfect first step for anyone who supports learning on the job or is working towards formal training credentials. 

Units of Competency (UoC)

This skill set includes the following nationally recognised units: 

  • TAEDEL411 – Facilitate vocational training
  • TAEDEL412 – Facilitate workplace-based learning

A Statement of Attainment is issued upon successful completion of both units.

ShapePathways Information

These units provide credit towards the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and may also be credited towards other qualifications in the TAE Training and Education Training Package.

This skill set meets minimum trainer education requirements for delivering training under supervision as outlined in applicable VET legislation, frameworks and standards
It replaces the TAESS00013 Enterprise Trainer – Mentoring Skill Set
