About the Tutor:

Amy Lea Hill-Trindall is a proud Kamilaroi woman living, working and raising family on Dharawal Country. She is the Director and Artist of Dewrang Art, established in 2018.

Amy works with government, Local Health Districts, schools and private organisations to create culturally safe spaces through commission artworks, Acknowledgement of Country and RAP artworks, infrastructure art design, murals, logo and textile design.

She facilitates Aboriginal art workshops for preschools through to corporate team-building and staff health and wellbeing programs, in collaboration with local Elders.

Amy’s work has been exhibited at Hazlehurst Arts Centre including her solo exhibition Traditional to Digital in 2023, Pari Gallery and Yapang Gallery. In 2026 she is a featured artist in the Sacred Journey exhibition for NAIDOC Week.

She is the winner of the 2023 MIL-PRA AECG Art Award and 2022 Sutherland Shire Local Business Awards and illustrator of a 7-book children’s series.
